Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, preparing financial statements, handling journal entries, and performing various accounting tasks. Duties will also include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting real estate asset management processes.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in preparing Financial Statements and understanding Financial Reporting processes
- Skills in Accounting and Finance, with the capability to manage real estate-related accounting tasks
- Proficiency in handling Journal Entries and other General Ledger activities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software (Appfolio, Quickbooks and Sage) and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in real estate accounting or property management is a plus
