About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports following best practices
- Work closely with business users to gather, understand, and translate requirements
- Build and maintain efficient data models (Star / Snowflake schemas)
- Optimize Tableau performance (extracts, filters, calculations, dashboard design)
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation and transformation
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability
- Mentor junior Tableau resources and review their work
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams
- Maintain documentation for dashboards and datasets
Required Skills
- Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server/Cloud
- Advanced SQL
- Experience with large datasets and performance tuning
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with stakeholders/business teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Tableau Server administration experience
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift / Azure SQL)
- Python or R for data analysis
- Agile / Scrum experience
