As a
Promo Editor/Video Editor you will be responsible for creating compelling Video and design to pull the audience to watch the full content. The right person would stay abreast of national and international OTT formats and the latest content. You are someone who would keep the brand continually relevant and ahead of the competition. Strong cross-functional departmental collaboration skills are a must to understand briefs.
You can innovatively create multiple points of view around high points in the content and develop them into Videos and designs that will hook the audience to the shows.
Responsibilities
- Design motion graphics, such as animated text, animated visuals, UX/UI animation, and more.
- Collaborate closely with the Post-Production team to identify and gather footage from shooting sets
- Should be able to craft a narrative that engages viewers, builds anticipation, and effectively communicates the value and highlights of the content.
- Develop a consistent visual identity for the OTT platform, including logo design, colour palettes, typography choices, and other brand elements.
- Work with internal and external teams
- Maintain consistency with the branding of the property
- Produce creative assets for marketing campaigns including digital creatives for social media, offline creatives, and Episode creatives for shows
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Video Editor/, preferably in the Entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in video editing software is crucial. You should be skilled in using industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
- Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects or Blender
- Knowledge of editing techniques, transitions, colour correction, and audio syncing.
- Knowledge of sound editing and design is essential. You should be able to adjust audio levels, add sound effects, and ensure high-quality audio throughout the promo.
- Strong typography skills for designs.
- Understanding of composition, colour theory, and graphic design principles to ensure that the promos and designs align with the brand identity and style of STAGE.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor analysis can be beneficial
- Can think outside the box, experiment with new ideas, and find innovative ways to capture viewers' attention.
