About the role
The Job Portal MERN Stack project is a web-based application developed using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) that aims to provide a platform where job seekers can search for available jobs and employers can post job vacancies. This project will have two types of users: job seekers and employers.
Project Features:
User Registration and Login: Users will be able to register and login to the system using their email and password.
Job Search: Job seekers will be able to search for available jobs based on various criteria such as job title, location, and category.
Job Application: Job seekers will be able to apply for jobs they are interested in by submitting their resumes and cover letters.
Employer Dashboard: Employers will have their own dashboard where they can post job vacancies, view job applications, and manage their company profile.
Job Alerts: Job seekers will receive alerts when a new job vacancy is posted that matches their search criteria.
Messaging System: Job seekers and employers will be able to communicate with each other through a messaging system built within the application.
Admin Dashboard: An admin dashboard will be provided to the system administrator where they can manage users, job postings, and job applications.
Payment Gateway: Employers will be able to pay for premium job postings using a payment gateway integrated into the system.
