Job details:
Lead end-to-end execution of a greenfield cold chain facility — from fit-out of an industrial shed to fully commissioned cold storage. Single point of accountability for timeline, quality, safety, and documentation on site. Hands-on, ground-level execution role working directly with contractors, technicians, and supervisors.
Position : Project Site Incharge.
Location : Taloja, Maharashtra, India.
Qualification : B.E. / Diploma — Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience : Minimum 06 years and Maximum 08 years of total experience.
Type of Engagement : Full Time.
Duration : 03 - 06 months.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Manage civil fit-out, cold room installation, MEP, and commissioning at site
- Plan daily milestones and track contractor progress against the project timeline
- Manage contractors, technicians, and supervisors — set targets, verify output daily
- Enforce quality and safety standards — sign off only after independent verification
- Maintain site diary, progress reports, drawings, and test records on a daily basis
- Flag cost variations and extra claims to the Project Manager immediately
- Own snag list closure, handover documentation, and client go-live sign-off
Special Skill:-
- 6+ years in project execution — cold chain, HVAC, or industrial infrastructure preferred
- Hands-on greenfield site experience — industrial shed to commissioned cold chain facility
- Working knowledge of refrigeration systems, cold room construction, and MEP utilities
- Proven ability to manage blue collar contractors and site teams independently
- Disciplined in daily documentation and site reporting
- Strong ownership mindset — escalates early with options, not just problems
