Role Description This is a full-time Project Sales Executive role based in Bengaluru in a hybrid work model, combining on-site client visits and office collaboration with some flexibility to work from home. The Project Sales Executive will identify and develop business opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and project consultants, focusing on driving paint and coatings sales in the project segment. Responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and negotiating terms to close deals. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for pricing, logistics, and after-sales support, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Project Sales Executive will regularly track market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B or project sales, preferably in paints, building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with the ability to engage and influence builders, contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Solid analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with sales tracking tools, CRM systems, and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple projects, and meet or exceed sales targets within defined timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Bengaluru real estate and construction ecosystem, along with a valid willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and alignment with Berger’s values of diversity, inclusion, and team collaboration.
- Minimum 1-5 years experience in Project sales.
