Applications are invited for post of Project Research Scientist-I in ICMR Funded Project entitled: “Moonlighting nuclear function of glycolytic enzyme phosphoglycerate mutase enzyme 1 (PfPGM1) in human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum and its therapeutic potential”
Position: Project Research Scientist -I (Contractual)
No. of position: 1
Duration: The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Candidates should possess 1st Class Master’s degree/integrated PG degree in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/allied subject from a recognized university with
OR
2nd Class Master’s degree including integrated PG degree + PhD degree in Life science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ allied subject from a recognized university
Desirable: Candidate should have knowledge of Biochemistry/ cell biology /molecular biology and relevant laboratory working experience in the above areas including mammalian/ parasite culture experience. Research publication in the relevant areas will be additional criteria for the candidates.
Remuneration: Rs.56000/- + HRA as applicable
