About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Project Procurement team within the SCM function.
The role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for ongoing projects, ensuring timely availability of materials/services, cost optimisation, and compliance with procurement processes.
The position involves close coordination with project, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure smooth execution of procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. RFQ & Tender Management
* Float RFQs and issue tender documents to vendors
* Ensure timely receipt and follow-up of vendor quotations
2. Commercial Evaluation
* Prepare commercial comparison statements for vendor quotations
* Perform basic cost analysis in Excel to support decision-making
* Highlight price deviations with respect to estimates/previous orders
3. Purchase Order Execution
* Create and process Purchase/Service Orders in ERP systems
* Ensure orders are aligned with approved budgets and terms
4. ERP & Master Data Management
* Maintain accurate item and service master data in ERP
* Ensure correctness and consistency of procurement data
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
* Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
* Coordinate with project and engineering teams to understand requirements
* Ensure timely procurement aligned with project timelines
6. Documentation & Compliance
* Maintain proper records of RFQs, quotations, approvals, and POs
* Ensure adherence to approved vendor lists and procurement policies
* Support audit requirements and documentation readiness
7. MIS & Reporting
* Prepare procurement MIS reports and updates
* Provide data support for audits and internal reviews
Key Skills & Competencies:
* Strong understanding of procurement processes (RFQ, tendering, PO management)
* Ability to work with BOQs and technical specifications
* Good knowledge of vendor evaluation and commercial comparison
* Proficiency in Excel (mandatory)
* Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar)
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* High level of professionalism and ethical standards

- Qualification : B.E/B.tech (Civil, Mech, EEE)
- 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Project Procurement or related roles.
- Proven team leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.
