Position - Project / Planning Engineer
Location - Kuwait
Qualifications - B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
Experience - 4-6 Years of EPC Experience
Immediate Joinee Preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Develop baseline schedules, project execution plans, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Monitor project progress and update schedules periodically.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and project dashboards.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in resource planning, manpower forecasting, and project control activities.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning support to project management.
- Monitor project milestones, critical paths, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal disciplines for project execution.
- Maintain regular coordination with clients to understand project requirements and communicate project updates to the India office.
- Ensure successful project closure by obtaining customer satisfaction feedback and project completion certificates.
- Support project close-out activities and preparation of final reports.
Technical Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Knowledge of EPC project execution.
- Preparation of baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.
- Understanding of project controls, resource planning, and progress measurement.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial projects is preferred.
