We're building our leadership for a large-scale urban behaviour-change (SBCC/IEC) programme across urban local bodies.
We take Social & Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) programmes from strategy to the last mile.
This is a senior end-to-end role spanning both programme strategy and field operations — the person who owns the plan and makes delivery happen on the ground.
What you'll own
- Overall strategy, planning and delivery of a multi-ULB IEC/SBCC programme
- End-to-end field operations across ULBs — deployment of D2D BCC mid-media and digital
- Monitoring & feedback systems: KPI tracking, GPS-tagged documentation, monthly/quarterly progress reports
- Government and ULB stakeholder relationships (Nodal Officer / CMO / EO level)
- Team leadership across content, operations, capacity-building and social media
- Budgets, timelines, SLA/KPI compliance and quality assurance
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management and Budgeting skills to oversee project planning, resource allocation, compliance, and financial tracking.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess programme performance, and drive evidence-based improvements in sanitation and behaviour-change interventions.
- Proven Team Management capabilities to lead cross-functional staff, build capacity, and foster collaborative, inclusive work environments.
- Excellent Communication skills for stakeholder engagement, community outreach, report writing, and representation in meetings with partners and authorities.
- Experience in public health or social development programmes, preferably with SBCC/IEC components.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in complex urban environments, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with government schemes, CSR initiatives, and development sector frameworks in India is an advantage.
- Comfort with project management tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis software.
What you bring
- Master's in Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, Governance, Sustainability, Environment or similar
- 7–10 years in programme leadership and operations, ideally in SBCC / IEC / large public-sector delivery
- Proven track record running multi-district / multi-ULB behaviour-change programmes end to end
- Strong government and community stakeholder management
- Comfort with monitoring frameworks, survey/data tools (Kobo/CommCare/ODK) and reporting discipline
- Hindi + English fluency
