Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Officer based in Dhule. The Project Officer will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring agricultural projects, supporting R&D initiatives, and engaging with farmers to identify opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities include planning and implementing projects, collecting field data, preparing reports, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders and a focus on enhancing agricultural productivity.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and implement agricultural projects.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to agricultural research and field activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with farmers and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of advanced agricultural practices, genetic engineering, and breeding technologies.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to varying agro-climatic conditions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Previous experience in agricultural project coordination or research is an advantage.
