About Us:
Phoenix Studio is a AI native web design and development agency partnering with clients of all sizes to deliver exceptional digital solutions. We hold a high bar for quality every site we ship goes through rigorous testing before it reaches a client. Our collaborative team culture encourages learning and innovation.
Job Summary:
We're seeking a detail-obsessed Project Manager with a QA testing background to own the delivery and quality of our web projects. You'll work alongside designers and developers to plan, coordinate, and track builds from kickoff to launch while serving as the last line of defense on quality, running the testing that ensures every website is fast, functional, and pixel-accurate before it goes live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Plan and track project scope, timelines, and deliverables across web builds, keeping designers, developers, and clients aligned.
- QA Ownership: Build and execute test plans for every project functional, visual, and content QA against approved designs and specs.
- Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Testing: Verify responsive behavior and consistent experience across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
- Bug Tracking & Triage: Log, prioritize, and document defects clearly; work with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes through regression testing.
- Pre-Launch Checks: Run launch checklists covering links, forms, SEO meta, page speed, accessibility, and analytics before every handoff.
- Client Communication: Act as a secondary point of contact, translating technical progress and QA status into clear updates for clients.
- Acceptance & Sign-Off: Own acceptance criteria and final quality sign-off, ensuring nothing ships until it meets the Phoenix standard.
- Documentation: Maintain project files, QA logs, test cases, and handover materials.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination and/or QA testing ideally in web, tech, or a digital agency (recent grads with QA/web internship experience welcome).
- Hands-on experience with QA testing: writing test cases, functional testing, using browserstack and visual testing, and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools (Asana, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar).
- A working understanding of how websites are built — HTML/CSS basics, responsive design, and the difference between a design spec and its implementation.
- Sharp eye for detail; you notice the 2px misalignment and the broken link everyone else missed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and a team player.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Webflow, WordPress, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with browser dev tools, Lighthouse, or accessibility/SEO checkers.
- Understanding of design tools (Figma) for comparing builds against specs.
Why Join Us?
- Own quality end-to-end on projects that ship to real clients.
- Work closely with experienced designers and developers.
- Exposure to diverse projects and clear growth pathways.
- Supportive, growth-oriented culture.
- Competitive salary and hybrid work setup.
How to Apply:
- Highlight any web projects you've tested or managed, and tell us about a bug or quality issue you caught before it shipped. A genuine eye for detail matters to us as much as years of experience.
