Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a solar plant Project Manager based in Hyderabad. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, and execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, managing logistics to optimize resources, and supervising project progress. The role also involves conducting inspections to uphold quality standards and address any project-related challenges as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Project Management, with the ability to oversee all aspects of project execution.
- Strong skills in Expediting and Expeditor-related tasks to ensure prompt delivery of resources and materials.
- Experience in conducting professional Inspection activities to maintain quality assurance and compliance.
- Expertise in Logistics Management for efficient planning and handling of project-related logistics.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills for seamless operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with renewable energy or solar industry projects would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead teams effectively in a dynamic, on-site environment.
Key responsibility
- Coordinate site survey and final layout execution
- Supervise structure, module, inverter & cable installation
- Ensure quality, safety, and timeline adherence
- Coordinate procurement and material availability
. Handle DISCOM documentation and submission
- Coordinate meter installation & inspection
- Follow up for net metering approval & synchronization
- Submit weekly progress reports
- Maintain material reconciliation records
- Provide commissioning & handover documents
