About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Shipbuilding / Ship Repair to lead end-to-end execution of shipbuilding and ship repair projects. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, cost, quality, and safety standards, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1) Lead and manage shipbuilding and ship repair projects from project initiation to completion.
2) Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
3) Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, quality, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
4) Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
5) Ensure compliance with marine regulations, classification society requirements, and safety standards.
6) Conduct project review meetings with internal stakeholders and clients.
Key Skills & Competencies
1) Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes, ship repair operations, and marine engineering.
2) Knowledge of classification societies and marine compliance standards.
3) Excellent project planning, scheduling, and cost control skills.
4) Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
5) Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced shipyard environment.
