About the Role
The Program Director acts as the central academic and operational leader responsible for managing program execution across batches, ensuring smooth academic delivery, student engagement, faculty coordination, placement preparedness, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Academic Planning & Batch Management
- Lead annual academic planning and semester execution across all programs.
- Ensure academic calendars are finalized before term commencement.
- Oversee timetable planning and schedule adherence.
- Manage coordination between Senior and Junior Batch Incharges.
- Conduct periodic review meetings to ensure academic alignment.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new batches.
- Academic Delivery & Monitoring
- Monitor subject completion across all batches.
- Ensure timely syllabus completion.
- Track faculty delivery effectiveness through student feedback.
- Ensure execution of planned academic activities.
- Maintain academic quality standards.
- Monitor academic performance benchmarks and student progress.
- Student Lifecycle Management
- Monitor student attendance, discipline, and engagement.
- Ensure mentoring and counselling support for students.
- Oversee internships, projects, and academic milestones.
- Handle student escalations, grievances, and retention concerns.
- Improve student satisfaction and campus experience.
- Placement & Industry Readiness
- Drive placement preparedness initiatives across all programs.
- Monitor placement rates and hiring outcomes.
- Ensure execution of CRT programs, mock interviews, and assessments.
- Build corporate partnerships for live projects and industry exposure.
- Improve employability outcomes and placement success.
- Team Management & Operational Excellence
- Lead Senior and Junior Batch Incharges and academic coordinators.
- Conduct performance reviews for reporting teams.
- Improve issue resolution timelines and process adherence.
- Ensure operational compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for academic operations.
Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in academic operations / program management
- Experience in B-schools, universities, higher education institutions, or EdTech preferred
- Prior experience managing large student batches is highly preferred
- Strong exposure to academic planning, student management, and institutional coordination
