Role: Launch Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

The Launch Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving successful pharmaceutical product launches. This position serves as the coordination backbone for cross‑functional activities, ensuring disciplined execution, operational rigor, and transparent reporting.
You will partner closely with teams across Commercial, Market Access, Marketing, Medical, Finance, and Operations to maintain integrated trackers, consolidate updates, and support structured governance through meetings, workshops, and reporting forums. By proactively flagging risks, issues, and budget variances, you will enable senior leadership to focus on strategic decision‑making and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with functional workstreams for routine status updates
- Maintain and update project trackers (launch plan, RAID log, dashboards)
- Schedule and manage cross‑functional meetings and workshops
- Prepare agendas, draft and distribute action‑oriented minutes
- Consolidate inputs into standardized reporting formats
- Flag risks/issues for VP/Senior Director review
- Assist in preparing special presentations
- Manage budgets, variances, accruals, and quarterly spend plans
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical product launches (commercial or late‑stage)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field
- Proven experience with integrated launch plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and budget trackers
- Strong ability to coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and capture actionable minutes
- Skilled in consolidating inputs into leadership‑ready formats
- Hands‑on experience with budget tracking, accruals, and variance management
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables), and multi‑calendar coordination
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments
