We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle EBS SCM Project Manager to lead and deliver complex supply chain transformation initiatives across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud SCM environments.
This role extends beyond functional consulting into strategic project leadership, requiring ownership of end-to-end Order-to-Fulfillment lifecycle programs, cross-functional coordination, and successful execution of system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS SCM modules with strong program management capabilities, enabling seamless integration of business processes across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end Oracle SCM projects from initiation through delivery and stabilization.
- Define project scope, timelines, resource plans, and governance frameworks.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive Agile/Waterfall execution methodologies as appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Functional Leadership & SME Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for Oracle EBS SCM processes and systems.
- Provide strategic direction for Order-to-Fulfillment lifecycle optimization.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle SCM solutions.
- Guide functional consultants and business analysts in solution design.
Oracle EBS SCM Implementation & Support
- Oversee configuration, implementation, and support of:
- Inventory (INV)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Order Management (OM)
- Bills of Material (BOM)
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Ensure alignment of system design with business objectives and best practices.
- Lead EBS upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
Oracle Cloud SCM & Planning Integration
- Drive adoption and integration of Oracle Cloud Planning modules:
- Demand Management (DM)
- Supply Planning (SP)
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Manage EBS–Cloud coexistence strategies, integrations, and data synchronization.
- Collaborate with technical teams on APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and extensions.
Business Process Optimization
- Partner with stakeholders across:
- Manufacturing
- Procurement
- Supply Chain Planning
- Logistics
- Finance
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Drive best practices in:
- Demand forecasting
- MRP/MPS
- Inventory optimization
- Procurement workflows
System Integration & Data Management
- Oversee data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure robust integrations between Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams on PL/SQL, SQL, and custom development.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead and govern:
- End-to-End Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and defect resolution.
Documentation & Compliance
- Review and approve key project documentation:
- BRDs (Business Requirements Documents)
- MD50 / Functional Design Documents
- BP080 (Setup Documents)
- Test Scripts & Training Materials
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Engage with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Drive organizational change management and user adoption.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for business users.
- Provide ongoing production support and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 12+ years of Oracle EBS SCM experience, with at least:
- 5+ years in project/program management roles
- Strong expertise in:
- Order-to-Fulfillment lifecycle
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- MRP/MPS
- Procurement & Inventory Management
- Proven experience in Oracle EBS SCM implementations and support.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Planning modules (DM, SP, S&OP).
- Strong knowledge of:
- SQL / PL-SQL
- Data migration & integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Experience managing EBS to Cloud transformations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud SCM Certification (Planning / Supply Chain)
- APICS CPIM / CSCP certification
- Experience with hybrid (EBS + Cloud) architectures
- Exposure to Agile project delivery frameworks
