Job Responsibilities
The Project / Program Manager (Offshore) is responsible for planning, execution, and governance of projects and programs delivered from the offshore location for client engagements. This role ensures delivery predictability, milestone adherence, risk management, and alignment with onsite delivery governance and SOW commitments.
- Plan and manage offshore execution of projects/programs in alignment with the approved client SOW, scope, and milestones.
- Own integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, and delivery trackers for offshore workstreams.
- Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and contractual deliverables.
- Track project/program KPIs including schedule variance, effort burn, risks, and issues; report status through defined governance cadence.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and dependencies; define and drive mitigation plans to closure.
- Coordinate closely with onsite Delivery Managers and client stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations.
- Manage change requests impacting offshore delivery, including impact analysis, effort estimation, and execution planning.
- Facilitate RCA for project slippages or delivery issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Ensure audit readiness through accurate documentation, approvals, and adherence to defined delivery processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through standardization, automation, and process optimization
- Minimum 10–14 years of experience in IT project or program management. Proven experience managing offshore delivery for global enterprise clients. Strong exposure to managed services, infrastructure, platform, or operations-led programs.
