Role Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs. The role involves driving governance, managing cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring successful execution aligned to agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with structured program management expertise and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall project governance and delivery management, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality commitments as defined in the SOW.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage cross-functional technical teams including Data Engineering, Analytics, DevOps, QA, and Architecture.
- Act as the single point of accountability for project execution, stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and escalation management.
- Define and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change requests; implement mitigation strategies and formal change control processes.
- Ensure compliance with delivery standards, security protocols, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive effective communication across business and technology stakeholders.
- Support release readiness activities, user acceptance, production deployment, and formal handover to operations/business teams.
- Track KPIs and provide regular status updates to leadership and client stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous improvement of delivery processes and governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management with strong exposure to technical delivery.
- Proven experience managing Data Engineering, Analytics, Cloud, or Platform modernization programs.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Hybrid delivery models.
- Experience managing fixed-price and milestone-based engagements aligned to SOW commitments.
- Solid knowledge of risk management, change control, and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data ecosystems is preferred.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications are a plus.
