Job Description
Godawari Harsh Construction Pvt Ltd. is seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager must have B.E./B.Tech In Civil Engineering to qualify as a Project manager. Proven experience as construction project manager. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, resource planning and project management principles.
Role Description
· To understand the agreement clauses, BOQ, terms & conditions of contract, specification, design/drawing of the project
· Capable of understanding & handling the LA issues, shifting of utilities, hindrances & make the ROW encumbrance free
· Capable of understanding the Planning, Budgeting, Cashflow, Target Vs Achievement Statement, S-Curve Daily & Monthly Closing Reports
· Capable to prepare the change of scope of work (cos) proposals & extension of time proposals as per site condition / situations
· Should have knowledge of function & operation of all types of constructional equipment’s & machinery’s
· Collaborate with Civil Engineers, Site In-charge to determine the specifications of the project
· Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
· Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
· Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
· Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
· Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
· Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
· Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Qualifications
· B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
· Minimum 10 years of proven experience as construction project manager.
· Project management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added bonus.
· Team player and collaborative nature.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills.
· Excellent knowledge of building permits, legal requirements and construction procedures.
· Well versed with construction and project management software.
