Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Project Manager for Solar Ground Projects. The Project Manager oversees the planning, scheduling, and execution of ground-mounted solar projects from initiation through commissioning. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and external vendors to ensure project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met. The role involves monitoring project timelines, managing risks, tracking progress, and preparing status reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The Project Manager also supports site inspections, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and leads issue resolution to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including experience managing construction or solar ground projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Expeditor and expediting skills to track orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Inspection experience to support or oversee quality checks, site inspections, and adherence to technical and safety standards.
- Logistics management capabilities to plan deliveries, manage inventory, and coordinate transportation and onsite material handling.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, ground-mounted installations, and related construction practices is highly beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools and basic MS Office or similar productivity software.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, renewable energy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
