Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead complete project execution for controls engineering and automation projects from initiation through commissioning and project closure.
• Manage project scope, timelines, cost, quality, and risks while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Translate customer and system requirements into project execution plans and technical deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional coordination among Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Service teams.
• Review and approve control system architecture, I/O design, network topology, panel design, and field control system design.
• Ensure successful development and integration of PLC, HMI, SCADA, motion control, and industrial communication systems.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation plans, and proactively resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Lead design reviews, safety reviews, FMEA, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, commissioning, site acceptance, and final project handover activities.
• Manage customer communication, technical discussions, change requests, and project reporting.
• Mentor Project Leads and Controls Engineers while fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies, engineering standards, and automation best practices.
Skills:
• 15–20 years of experience in Controls Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Industrial Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, or Technical Leadership managing automation and controls engineering projects.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering large-scale industrial automation projects.
• Strong expertise in industrial automation systems and the complete controls engineering lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), SCADA (Allen Bradley, Ignition), motion control systems, and industrial communication networks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Valid B1/B2 visa
