About the Opportunity
The Workfolk is hiring on behalf of an established infrastructure and real estate company executing government infrastructure and industrial construction projects across India.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Civil to lead the execution of miscellaneous civil works at HPCL Refinery, Chembur, under the supervision of Engineers India Limited (EIL).
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with industrial or refinery construction experience to lead a high-value project while working closely with reputed PSU clients and consultants.
About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for complete project execution within a live refinery environment. The role involves planning, execution, quality management, safety compliance, resource planning, client coordination, documentation, and timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and HSE compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of industrial civil construction works.
- Plan and manage manpower, machinery, materials, and other project resources.
- Coordinate with HPCL, EIL, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with refinery safety procedures and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, project records, billing documentation, deviation records, and project reports.
- Coordinate contractor and vendor activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and supervise the site execution team while maintaining productivity, discipline, and safety standards.
- Ensure project delivery within approved timelines, quality standards, and budget.
Required Technical Experience
Candidates should have hands-on experience in executing industrial or refinery construction projects involving:
- RCC foundations and equipment foundations
- Tank foundations
- Structural civil works
- Structural steel coordination
- Excavation and underground utilities
- Roads, drains, and infrastructure works
- Shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete works
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with prior experience on projects executed for any of the following organizations will be preferred:
- HPCL
- IOCL
- BPCL
- GAIL
- ONGC
- Engineers India Limited (EIL)
Eligibility Criteria
Education - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience
OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 18+ years of relevant experience
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager or Site Leadership role.
- Experience in industrial, refinery, oil & gas, or PSU projects is mandatory.
- Experience working in live refinery environments will be an added advantage.
