Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Tiruppur. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end execution of water treatment and effluent management projects, from planning and scheduling to commissioning and handover. Responsibilities include defining project scope, preparing timelines, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. The role involves daily coordination with engineering, procurement, logistics, and site execution teams, as well as external vendors and clients. The Project Manager will track project risks and issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain clear documentation and reports. The position also requires conducting or coordinating inspections, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and maintaining strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong project delivery capabilities, including Project Management and related planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Experience with Expeditor and Expediting activities to follow up on vendor commitments, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes to verify equipment, materials, and installation quality against specifications and standards.
- Competence in Logistics Management for coordinating shipments, tracking material movement, and optimizing delivery to project sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in water treatment, effluent treatment, or industrial project environments is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety, compliance, and quality.
