Title - Sr. Project Coordinator
Exp - 15-18 yrs
Location - Chennai
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Coordinator / IT Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of clinical and non-clinical technology initiatives within a structured PMO environment.
This role will be responsible for managing the complete project lifecycle—from discovery and planning through execution, go-live, and closure—while ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations.
A key focus area includes managing EHR platform initiatives (especially Netsmart my Avatar or similar systems), along with broader enterprise IT projects across healthcare environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15–18 years of experience in IT Project Management / PMO roles
- Strong experience in Healthcare / Behavioral Health / Human Services domain
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems (Netsmart myAvatar preferred)
- Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional IT projects
- Expertise in Agile & Waterfall methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with PMO tools: MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR SaaS migrations / system upgrades
- Exposure to Health Informatics & clinical workflows
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications
- Experience working with global stakeholders or vendor ecosystems
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Project Delivery
Lead full project lifecycle: Initiation → Planning → Execution → Monitoring → Closure
Develop project charters, business cases, WBS, Gantt charts, and resource plans
Track timelines, risks, dependencies, and ensure adherence to PMO governance
Manage scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations
2. PMO Governance & Metrics
Maintain project documentation in tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence
Track KPIs: schedule variance, delivery timelines, risk metrics, etc.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA)
Contribute to PMO process improvements and best practices
