Role Description The Project Manager role at Surya Roshni is a full-time remote position responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects across the lighting and manufacturing operations. The role involves defining project scope and timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that all milestones are met on schedule and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with expediting and logistics teams, supervising inspection activities, tracking project progress, and preparing status reports for stakeholders. The Project Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and maintain quality and safety standards aligned with company certifications. This position also focuses on continuous improvement of project processes and communication flows to support Surya’s ambitious growth and innovation goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to effectively follow up on orders, ensure timely deliveries, and manage vendor commitments.
- Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills to oversee quality checks, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to safety standards.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate material movement, optimize supply chain activities, and support on-time project execution.
- Relevant skills such as excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or lighting/LED projects is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with ISO and HSE standards.
