Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in both Civil Construction and High-End Interior Fit-outs. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for project delivery, responsible for transforming architectural visions into reality while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and budget.
As our projects are spread across South India, this role requires a candidate who is comfortable with regional travel and can effectively manage site operations in various locations. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from initial site mobilization to final handover—leading multidisciplinary teams and specialized vendors to ensure every detail meets the luxury standards SR Infra is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Project Oversight: Manage and monitor multiple project sites across South India, ensuring consistent quality and progress across different geographic locations.
- Execution & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all civil and interior milestones are met without compromising quality.
- On-Site Leadership: Provide direct supervision of site engineers, supervisors, and sub-contractors; conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical drawings.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project costs, approve material requisitions, and optimize resource allocation to prevent budget overruns.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the bridge between clients, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of site bottlenecks.
- Quality Control & Safety: Implement rigorous QC processes for civil works and interior finishes (woodwork, MEP, flooring, etc.) and ensure a zero-accident safety environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing construction and interior design projects. Experience in high-end residential or commercial fit-outs is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and MEP layouts.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel across South India as per project requirements.
- Project Management Skills: Expert-level knowledge of project planning tools, expediting schedules, and logistics management for remote or multi-site operations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. You should be adept at managing labor and vendors under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in South Indian regional languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam) is a significant advantage for local vendor and labor management.
