About Position
The Senior Technical Project Manager role supports Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) initiatives in Vadodara, focusing on delivering high‑performance, end‑to‑end digital payment services. This position is responsible for driving complex, multiteam engineering programs, ensuring predictable delivery, technical alignment, and operational excellence. The role requires strong technical understanding, Agile leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to execute a technical roadmap across planning, development, and production deployment within a fast‑paced payments ecosystem.

What You'll Do
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional, multi‑team engineering programs
- Provide technical leadership for MDES initiatives including tokenization and wallet technologies
- Drive planning, execution, and production deployment of digital payment platforms
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints across teams
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, Infrastructure teams, and external partners
- Ensure alignment between business goals, technical design, and delivery execution
- Drive operational excellence across development workflows and delivery processes
- Support adoption and improvement of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Oversee delivery readiness and support customer onboarding and integration activities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum/SAFe principles
- Communicate status, risks, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders
Expertise You'll Bring
- 8–12 + years of overall experience in software development and technical program/project management
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical programs from inception to closure
- Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, including Java, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience working with cloud technologies and modern service‑oriented architecture
- Strong hands‑on experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business, engineering, and infrastructure teams
- Experience in the payments or financial services domain is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication, risk management, and coordination skills
- Ability to operate effectively in high‑scale, high‑availability, and regulated environments
