We are looking for a Project Manager who can take complete ownership of project execution from planning to handover. This role requires a strong leader who can drive construction activities on site, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with consultants, contractors, procurement, and internal teams to plan construction activities, monitor progress, resolve execution challenges, manage quality and safety, and ensure seamless coordination across civil, architectural, MEP, landscaping, and infrastructure works. The role demands excellent planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a constant focus on delivering projects efficiently while maintaining Nandi Housing's quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Prepare and monitor project execution plans.
- Develop construction schedules and monthly/weekly work plans.
- Ensure work progresses as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate civil, architectural, MEP, landscaping, and infrastructure activities.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Site Management
- Manage day-to-day construction activities at the site.
- Supervise engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Resolve site execution issues and technical challenges.
Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and inspection protocols.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and materials.
Safety Management
- Enforce site safety policies and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety reviews and inspections.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Control material wastage and rework.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
Procurement & Material Management
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material delivery.
- Review material requirements and procurement schedules.
- Ensure critical materials are available before execution.
- Resolve drawing discrepancies and RFIs.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress against baseline schedules.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Highlight delays, bottlenecks, and recovery plans.
- Present project status to management.
Contractor Management
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity.
- Ensure contractual compliance.
- Evaluate contractor resources and deployment.
- Resolve contractual and operational issues.
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
What We Are Looking For
- 10 –15 years of experience in residential or commercial construction with strong site execution experience.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects while maintaining quality, safety, cost, and timelines.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Excellent coordination skills across civil, architectural, MEP, landscaping, procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC practices, safety standards, and project scheduling.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve site challenges effectively.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to monitor progress, identify risks, and drive timely project completion
