Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager at our Navi Mumbai office. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of research and consulting projects. Your responsibilities will include organizing cross-functional teams, managing timelines and resource allocation, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within scope and budget. You will play a key role in enhancing client relationships and delivering quality solutions that meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication, collaboration, and client management abilities
- Proficiency in data interpretation, market surveys, and reporting
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project or other project management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict timelines
- Knowledge of business strategy, market trends, and consultancy practices
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Execution & Custom Research Leadership
- Independently design and execute end-to-end custom research projects (primary & secondary)
- Translate client objectives into robust research frameworks, methodologies, and Scope of Work (SoW)
- Lead questionnaire design, discussion guides, and hypothesis structuring
- Ensure adaptability in project execution when stakeholder requirements evolve
- Drive structured problem-solving across complex, ambiguous business questions
2. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor and guide analysts on custom research execution, data interpretation, and insight generation
- Design and implement efficient resource allocation strategies across projects
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and analytical rigor
- Conduct strict quality assurance (QA) across research outputs and deliverables
3. Market Intelligence & Insights Delivery
- Lead and review projects involving:
- Market Sizing & Forecasting
- Competitive Benchmarking
- Industry & Value Chain Analysis
- Synthesize primary and secondary research findings into actionable insights
- Ensure all outputs are data-backed, logically structured, and client-ready
4. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as a key client interface for all custom research engagements
- Manage evolving client requirements with structured communication and agility
- Present insights in a consultative and decision-oriented manner
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience in custom research (must-have) across industries
- Proven ability to design and execute:
- Primary research (interviews, surveys)
- Secondary research (industry analysis, databases)
- Strong team leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Ability to handle ambiguous problem statements with structured thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
