We are looking for a Project Manager with 4 to 6 years of experience who can hold a project together, keep a team sharp, and make clients feel like they are in good hands, all at the same time.
About Kraftbase
Kraftbase is a UI/UX and branding studio built for AI and SaaS companies. We work with teams building the next generation of software products, including companies backed by YC and Google Ventures, and we help them ship with clarity and craft. We are a team of 15 people, we do not micromanage, and we move fast. We need a Project Manager who can bring structure without slowing things down.
What You Will Own
→ Be the single point of contact for clients — owning communication, setting expectations, and making sure no one is left wondering what is happening
→ Run sprint planning and weekly check-ins with the design and dev team — keeping work moving without creating unnecessary overhead
→ Translate client briefs and feedback into clear, actionable tasks for designers — no ambiguity, no back and forth
→ Track project health across multiple engagements simultaneously and flag risks before they become problems
→ Build and document internal processes that make delivery more predictable — SOPs, handoff checklists, onboarding flows
→ Foster a team culture where people feel ownership over their work, take initiative, and communicate without being asked
→ Work closely with the founder on capacity planning, hiring timelines, and studio-level priorities
You Are the Right Fit If
→ You have 4 to 6 years of project management experience inside a design agency, product studio, or SaaS company
→ You are an exceptionally clear communicator — clients trust you and teammates respect you
→ You run sprints that actually work — not ceremonial standups but real planning that the team finds useful
→ You have built processes from scratch and know the difference between a process that helps and one that just creates paperwork
→ You take ownership naturally — you do not wait for someone to tell you something is off, you already see it and are handling it
→ You understand design well enough to speak the language — you do not need to be a designer but you cannot be intimidated by Figma files and design feedback
This Will Not Work If
→ You need a detailed brief before you can move
→ You treat project management as status reporting rather than problem solving
→ You are more comfortable maintaining systems than building them
Good to Have
→ Prior experience at a design or creative agency
→ Familiarity with Linear, Notion, or ClickUp for project tracking
→ Exposure to working with funded startup founders who move fast and think out loud
