Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with strong experience delivering Generative AI and AI-enabled products in an Agile / Scrum environment with 7 to 10 years of experience.
The ideal candidate is highly adaptable to AI-native ways of working, capable of managing uncertainty, rapid iterations, evolving requirements, and cross-functional AI teams.
You will work closely with engineering, data science, product, design, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of GenAI solutions.
Project & Delivery Management
· Lead end-to-end delivery of GenAI and AI-powered projects, from discovery to production and scale.
· Own scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
· Drive execution using Scrum / Agile frameworks (Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
· Manage delivery in environments with rapid experimentation, model iteration, and evolving requirements.
Agile & Scrum Execution
· Act as Scrum Master / Delivery Lead where required.
· Ensure sprint goals align with business outcomes and AI experimentation cycles.
· Facilitate backlog grooming, story prioritization, and velocity tracking.
· Remove impediments and enable teams to deliver consistently.
GenAI & AI Collaboration
· Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Prompt Engineers, and LLM Engineers.
· Understand AI workflows including:
o Model selection and evaluation
o Prompt engineering iterations
o Fine-tuning vs inference-based solutions
o Human-in-the-loop workflows
· Translate business problems into executable AI delivery plans.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
· Engage senior stakeholders with clear progress updates, risk insights, and outcome-based reporting.
· Manage expectations in AI projects where certainty evolves over time.
· Communicate complex AI concepts in simple, business-friendly language.
Governance, Quality & Compliance
· Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and responsible AI principles.
· Track and report delivery metrics (burndown, velocity, cycle time, AI accuracy benchmarks).
· Manage change requests and scope adjustments pragmatically.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Project Management
· Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / Program Manager.
· Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
· Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
GenAI & AI Understanding
· Experience delivering projects involving:
o LLMs, chatbots, copilots, or AI assistants
o NLP, document intelligence, analytics, or recommendation systems
· Solid conceptual understanding of:
o Generative AI workflows
o Model lifecycle and experimentation
o AI limitations, hallucinations, and evaluation metrics
AI-Style Ways of Working (Critical)
· Comfortable with:
o Iterative discovery instead of fixed upfront requirements
o Rapid prototyping and MVP-driven delivery
o Continuous learning and experimentation
· Ability to adapt plans dynamically based on model performance and feedback.
Leadership & Soft Skills
· Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
· High ownership mindset with the ability to lead without authority.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good to Have
· Experience managing multi-agent systems, AI platforms, or SaaS AI products
· Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) in AI projects
· Familiarity with Responsible AI, AI governance, and compliance frameworks
· Experience working with enterprise customers and regulated industries
