About Conserve India
Conserve India is a Delhi-based non-profit working at the intersection of circular economy, sustainable livelihoods, waste-to-wealth innovation, and inclusive value chain development. Since 1998, Conserve India has worked with communities, artisans, waste workers, MSMEs, institutions, and industry partners to create practical models that combine environmental sustainability with livelihood generation.
In the textile circularity space, Conserve India works on strengthening circular textile value chains through textile waste recovery, sorting and segregation systems, upcycling, recycling linkages, circular product development, MSME engagement, and community-led livelihood models. Our work focuses on converting textile and other waste streams into economic opportunities while supporting inclusive participation of women, informal workers, artisans, and grassroots enterprises. Conserve India’s approach combines field implementation, stakeholder engagement, research, capacity building, and cluster-based circular economy solutions to support India’s transition towards more responsible, traceable, and inclusive textile waste systems..
Project Manager Role
Conserve India is looking for a structured, result-oriented Project Manager to drive our circular economy and sustainability initiatives. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day implementation of our textile based circular economy project on the ground.

The role requires strong ownership, problem-solving ability, stakeholder confidence, documentation discipline, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a complex cluster-based project.

- Track progress, risks, issues, decisions, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement status.
- Ensure timely internal updates and escalation of delays, risks, or sensitive stakeholder issues.
- Maintain project discipline, documentation quality, stakeholder trust, and field momentum throughout Phase 1.
