Job description:
Job Title: Project Manager
Job Location: Gujarat
Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical engineering projects, with a focus on oil and gas, piping, and gas industries.
Exposure to the semiconductor or solar industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Develop and execute project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management.
Industry Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge of oil and gas, piping, and gas industry standards and practices to project planning and execution. Leverage expertise in semiconductor or solar industry practices to enhance project efficiency and innovation.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a cross-functional project team, providing guidance and motivation to ensure successful project outcomes. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements. Address client concerns, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight for mechanical engineering aspects of projects, including design, analysis, and implementation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the Director of India Operations to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Site Visits: Travel to project sites as required to oversee on-site activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and lessons learned.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the mechanical engineering project management framework.
Key Competencies: Strong project management skills. In-depth knowledge of oil and gas, piping, and gas industry practices. Familiarity with semiconductor or solar industry practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic environment
