The Project Manager will lead the execution of utility scale energy projects of US team. This role will manage cross-border project delivery, ensuring seamless coordination with US clients, EPC contractors, consultants, and internal offshore teams. The position requires strong expertise in renewable and conventional energy projects, and regulatory environments.
Sample Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of US-based utility-scale projects (Solar PV, Wind, Thermal, Energy Storage) from India
• Develop detailed execution plans aligned with US project timelines and milestones
• Manage offshore engineering and analytical teams supporting project delivery
• Ensure alignment between India-based execution teams and US on-ground stakeholders
• Act as the primary interface for US clients, developers, and partners
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and utilities in the US
• Conduct regular meetings aligned with US time zones
• Provide project updates, dashboards, and executive reports to US stakeholders
• Oversee design, engineering deliverables, and technical documentation prepared by India
• teams Ensure compliance with US standards (IEEE, NEC, ANSI, UL, NFPA)
• Review drawings, calculations, and project specifications
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, structural, energy modeling)
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
• Support pricing, proposals, and commercial negotiations for US projects
• Optimize resource utilization across offshore teams
• Identify risks related to cross-border execution, timelines, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to US regulatory, permitting, and interconnection requirements
• Support due diligence and audit processes for US projects
• Coordinate with US vendors, suppliers, and EPC contractors
• Support bid evaluation, contract management, and procurement tracking
• Ensure timely delivery of equipment and services
• Ensure high-quality deliverables meeting US client expectations
• Maintain documentation aligned with US project standards
• Implement QA/QC processes across offshore teams
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Energy)
· Bachelors/Diploma/Master’s in Project Management / Energy (preferred)
· 6–15 years of experience in utility-scale energy or infrastructure projects
