Context
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with strong expertise in project management and cost control . The role involves supporting end-to-end project management while ensuring strict monitoring of budgets, costs, and overall financial performance.
Missions/Main Duties
- Support end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of design projects
- Track project progress against schedules and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure effective cost control
- Analyze cost variances and implement corrective actions to avoid overruns
- Coordinate with design teams and clients for smooth project execution
- Manage billing, certification, and follow-up on payments
- Support contract administration, including variation orders (VO) and claims management
- Prepare MIS reports, progress reports, and management dashboards
- Identify project risks and support mitigation planning
- Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with internal finance teams for timely completion of financial activities
- Manage bank guarantees and insurance-related requirements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit presentations for senior management
