Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant (PMC) to oversee and manage EPC projects from planning to execution and closure. The role involves ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality compliance, and effective coordination among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Panning & Scheduling
- Develop and review project schedules (L1, L2, L3) using tools like Primavera P6/MS Project
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables
- Monitor progress against baseline schedules
Execution & Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Ensure smooth communication between client, contractors, and internal teams
- Track site progress and resolve execution bottlenecks
Contract & Commercial Management
- Review EPC contracts, identify risks, and ensure compliance
- Monitor billing, invoicing, and cash flow
- Support in variation orders, claims, and change management
Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports
- Track KPIs such as schedule variance, cost variance, and productivity
- Highlight delays and recommend corrective actions
Risk & Delay Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Analyze delays and support extension of time (EOT) claims
- Ensure documentation for claims and dispute resolution
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, standards, and safety norms
- Monitor QA/QC processes and audit compliance
Stakeholder Management
- Conduct review meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure timely approvals and decision-making
- Escalate critical issues when required
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle
- Knowledge of contract management and FIDIC terms
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project / Excel dashboards
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
- PMP certification (preferred)
Experience
- 5–15 years of experience in EPC / infrastructure / renewable energy projects
- Experience in solar / wind / BESS projects is an added advantage
