Project In-Charge (Offshore Rig Accommodation Refurbishment)
Location: Guyana (Offshore Rotation)
Employment Type: Contract (1 Year)
Project Duration: 1 Year
Aries Overseas Services is looking for an experienced Project In-Charge to lead offshore accommodation refurbishment projects in Guyana. If you have a strong background in offshore, marine, or oil & gas projects and proven leadership experience, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, or Shipyard projects.
- Hands-on experience with offshore rigs, drillships, FPSOs, offshore platforms, or marine vessels.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, accommodation refurbishment, insulation, joinery, flooring, ceilings, wall panels, painting, plumbing, electrical coordination, and furniture installation.
- Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and project management skills.
- Offshore certifications such as BOSIET, HUET, and Offshore Medical will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead offshore accommodation refurbishment projects from mobilization to handover.
- Manage project execution, subcontractors, manpower, materials, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and client teams.
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain stakeholder communication.
