Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Project Health Safety Environment (HSE) Manager, based on-site in Kerala, India. The HSE Manager will ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards by overseeing safety protocols, conducting EHS audits, and implementing risk management practices. Responsibilities also include safety training programs, ensuring occupational health standards on projects, and collaboration with project teams to uphold best practices in HSE management. The manager will play a critical role in advancing EHS initiatives across projects.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and Occupational Health practices
- Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications in health, safety, and environment management
- Strong skills in Project Management with the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple aspects of workplace safety in projects
- Experience in training personnel on EHS procedures, guidelines, and compliance
- Proficient understanding of local and international safety regulations and systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- A bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in the construction or interior design industry is a plus
