Key Responsibilities
Acts as Leave replacement to another Project Engineer as appropriate
Ensuring implementation of Quality Management System for assigned project by all disciplines.
Assist Project Engineering Manager in execution of assigned Projects.
Proposal / Project coordination
Preparation of Project execution plan.
Close interaction with foreign based clients
Coordinating contract review (technical) before and after accepting order
Preparation and compilation of Engineering Plan / Resource Plan with inputs from LEs.
Preparing project execution procedure and supporting procedures, as required, for overall project execution.
Project engineering coordination and interface with Project control
Maintaining tracking sheet for external interactions and meetings with clients, suppliers, vendors, and contractors
Follow up with disciplines, Project Execution Group, Specialist Engineering Groups, and other agencies to release engineering deliverables as per agreed schedule.
Tracking document approval from Customer / PMC and providing timely input to Project Engineering Manager and project controls.
Preparing and maintaining documents required for Quality Management System for assigned project. Compilation of project quality records in suitable form.
Preparing minutes of Meeting for regular project review meetings and conducting multi-disciplinary Toolbox Meeting (TBM) on regular basis, and tracking action required by concern.
Prepare and update monthly man-hours / Project Schedule for assigned project.
Compile and maintain change orders register.
Periodic monitoring of quantities
Prepare closeout dossier for executed project and capture learnings.
During Proposal phase align with BD Team
Reviews the scope of work and provide inputs to Project Engineering Manager for clarifications for ambiguous /
Incomplete / incorrect information
Assists Project Engineering Manager in preparing man-hour estimates
Provide input and work closely with Project planner to develop an efficient and sustainable schedule.

Coaches and develops junior staff to fulfil discipline engineering roles.

Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering – (
Chemical / Mechanical -Preferred / Electrical / Instrumentation)
Professional experience (yrs.)
8-15 years in Project Engineering Management experience in an engineering consultancy or EPC company

He should be well exposed to Industrial projects covering sectors like Hydrocarbon sector (viz. Oil & Gas Onshore and Offshore, Petroleum Refineries, Liquefied Natural Gas Plants, Gas Processing, Pipelines, Fertilizers and Petrochemical Plants), Chemical Process Plants. Review of vendor offers preparation of Technical Bid Analysis. Leading Project taskforce, interfacing with other disciplines, client.
Professional qualifications for Project Management (PMP or equivalent) from reputed institutions will be acknowledged as additionally preferred qualification.
Understand providing engineering inputs to Planning Software Like Primavera / MS Project and preparation of DCI / DML (Document Control Index / Document Master List)
