Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Project Engineer will oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timelines, quality standards, and budget targets are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include project planning, preparing technical specifications and drawings, assisting in equipment selection, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role involves monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, maintaining documentation and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety practices. The Project Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimizing machinery and systems performance.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
- Relevant engineering degree (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in machinery, industrial equipment, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and basic quality assurance practices.
- Proficiency in common engineering and project tools (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling software, CAD basics) is an advantage.
