Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Project Engineer role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a mix of on-site work at project locations. The Project Engineer will support end-to-end project execution, including reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with design and site teams, and assisting in planning execution activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating project schedules, monitoring progress, tracking resources, and ensuring work is completed as per quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves regular communication with sub -contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues, manage risks, and keep projects on time and within budget. The Project Engineer will also assist in documentation, reporting, and approvals, as well as support site inspections and testing, particularly for mechanical & electrical related systems where applicable.
Qualifications
- Strong project execution capabilities, including Project Engineering and Project Management skills, with experience coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking using relevant tools or software.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Effective Communication skills for clear interaction with site teams, management, clients, contractors, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field; prior experience in machinery installations, fabrications or infrastructure projects in an on-site or hybrid capacity is preferred.
- Familiarity with installation safety practices, quality management, and basic contract or tender documentation.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing site and project conditions.
- Language speaking reading: Marathi, Engilish, Hindi
