Role Description The Project Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role involves managing the technical aspects of architectural and interior projects, including reviewing design drawings, preparing engineering documentation, and coordinating with architects, designers, and contractors. The Project Engineer will support project planning, monitor progress against timelines, and ensure that engineering work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include site visits, quality checks, resolving technical issues, and assisting with procurement of materials and systems related to electrical and other building services. The role also requires clear communication with clients and internal teams to report status, address risks, and maintain smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, including understanding of building systems, drawings, and technical standards.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to manage timelines, resources, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with clients and contractors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in construction, architectural, or interior fit-out projects, preferably in commercial or residential environments.
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings, use basic project management tools, and perform on-site inspections.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and timely delivery.
