Project cum Site Engineer – ETP Expansion Project (Turnkey Execution)
Location: Rohtak, Haryana
Industry: Food & Beverage
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of on-site experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution
- Manage the on-site execution of the ETP expansion project including mechanical, piping, electrical, and civil interface works.
- Ensure installation of equipment and piping as per approved drawings, specifications, and project scope.
2. Site Supervision
- Supervise contractors involved in equipment erection, fabrication, piping installation, and integration with the existing ETP system.
- Verify material deliveries and ensure proper installation practices at site.
3. Drawing & Technical Review
- Read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, mechanical, civil, and electrical drawings for execution.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for technical clarifications and site modifications.
4. Coordination
- Act as the single point of coordination at site between the client, company head office, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure smooth coordination between civil, mechanical, and electrical activities.
5. Project Monitoring
- Track project progress against timelines and milestones.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site observations, and issue logs for management and the client.
- Provide regular updates through digital reporting tools (e.g., WhatsApp, and other software).
6. Quality & Safety
- Ensure work is carried out as per project quality standards and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.
7. Testing & Commissioning
- Support installation checks, testing, and commissioning activities of the expanded ETP system.
- Assist in trial runs and ensure performance parameters are achieved before handover.
8. Documentation
- Maintain site records, installation reports, inspection checklists, and commissioning documentation.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation.
9. Additional Responsibilities
- Support identification of business opportunities in nearby industries when feasible.
