Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in West Bengal, India. The Project Engineer will oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project activities, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring project timelines and budgets. The role also involves resolving technical issues on-site, supporting inspections and assessments, and providing clear communication to stakeholders regarding project status and risks. The Project Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and supporting adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills for overseeing technical design, implementation, and site-related engineering activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Project Management and Project Planning skills to manage schedules, resources, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant engineering degree (preferably in Electrical or related discipline) and prior experience in project engineering or industrial projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, quality procedures, and industry codes; experience in insurance, inspection, or loss assessment environments is an advantage.
- Proficiency in basic project management tools and MS Office; ability to work on-site in industrial settings within West Bengal.
