• With strong capabilities in engineering-led manufacturing and compliance with international codes and standards including ASME, PED, EN, AS/NZS, and CRN (Canadian Registration Number), Quadrogen India supports applications such as water treatment plants, containerized systems, compressor packages, PSA systems, and biogas upgradation plants, serving renewable energy, oil & gas, and industrial gas sectors globally.
Role Description
• This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Pune. The role involves end-to-end project execution, covering planning, coordination, monitoring, control, and delivery of projects in a structured and disciplined manner.
• The Project Engineer will be responsible for initiating projects through development of project charters, conducting kick-off meetings, and establishing clear team alignment. The role includes preparing and managing project schedules, driving coordination across Engineering, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, and Logistics teams, and ensuring timely execution from engineering release through fabrication, testing, and final dispatch.
• The role requires a strong understanding of shopfloor practices along with effective coordination of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and client interfaces. The candidate will track procurement and fabrication progress, monitor performance against plan, identify risks, implement mitigation and contingency plans, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• The Project Engineer will also prepare weekly project progress reports, maintain structured project controls, and track performance using basic project control metrics such as SPI and CPI. The role involves clear, data-driven client communication. The candidate is expected to act as both internal and external project owner, ensuring alignment across all functions and successful project delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing and execution of pressure vessels, modular skids, process equipment, or similar heavy engineering / EPC projects
• Exposure to project scheduling and planning tools (MS Project / Primavera P6)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Strong ownership mindset, communication, and problem-solving skills
