Role Overview
The Site Engineer will be responsible for on-site execution of solar EPC projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and as per approved quality standards. The role involves coordination with vendors, government authorities, and internal teams, along with strong technical and execution ownership.
Key Site Responsibilities
- Execute site activities as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.
- Plan and monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment, and productivity.
- Identify execution challenges proactively and implement practical site solutions.
- Ensuring correct installation of modules, MMS, inverters, DC & AC cabling, earthing, LA, and evacuation systems.
- Ensure proper alignment, torque tightening, routing, dressing, and termination.
- Support testing, commissioning, and synchronization activities.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, quality plans, and checklists.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and maintain as-built documentation.
- Support internal, client, and third-party audits and inspections.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.
- Report and document near-misses, incidents, and accidents.
- Monitor material receipt, consumption, and balance.
- Minimize wastage and support cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, DISCOM officials, and government authorities.
- Represent the company professionally during site inspections and meetings.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Assist in measurements, RA billing, and handover documentation.
- Lead and guide site teams.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and ethical conduct.

Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Solar EPC industry
