Role Description The Project Engineer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area, with a mix of on-site responsibilities and some work-from-home tasks. The Project Engineer will oversee day-to-day project execution, including coordinating with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure work progresses according to design, schedule, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities include assisting in project planning, monitoring progress, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, and supporting the implementation of digital tools for reporting and quality control. The role also involves collaborating with senior engineers and project managers on resource allocation, risk identification, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Project Engineer is expected to maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients, provide regular updates, and contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and project planning skills, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Solid project engineering capabilities, including understanding of construction methods, site execution processes, and technical documentation.
- Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering or related engineering disciplines, especially for industrial and commercial facility projects.
- Effective communication skills to interact with site teams, management, clients, and vendors, both in person and through digital tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering field; a diploma with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Experience in industrial or commercial construction projects and familiarity with safety, compliance, and labour law requirements (ESI, PF) is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office and exposure to digital construction or project management platforms; experience with tools like DigiQC, Office 365, or similar systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, travel to sites within the Greater Ahmedabad Area as needed, and adapt to dynamic project
