About The Role
We are hiring a
Project Engineer for Rack Management Systems (RMS) projects. This is a
hands-on, site-based role suited for someone who enjoys working on-ground, supervising execution, and ensuring smooth day-to-day project activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of RAMS Digital’s projects at site – Project is Supervising installation of Racking system in the warehouse.
- Supervise day-to-day on-ground activities, including installation and site work
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and layouts
- Ensure adherence to site safety and design safety norms- Safety is key function and complete safety checklist while working and design safety while installation as per drawing is necessary.
- Track progress of work and report updates to stakeholders
- Identify and escalate on-site challenges and support in resolving them
- Maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in rack systems / structural / MIA structures or on site experience
- Basic understanding of rack systems / structural frameworks
- Exposure to site safety practices (Site Safety, Design Safety, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Willingness to travel and relocate every 6 months based on project needs
- Good communication skills in English and basic stakeholder coordination ability
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience in site supervision / execution roles
- Basic project management and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in fast-paced, on-ground environments
