Role Description The Project Engineer role at Circen Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves leading and coordinating engineering activities for sewage treatment projects, including project planning, design review, and technical implementation. The Project Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, prepare technical documentation, and support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and treatment systems. Daily responsibilities include tracking project progress, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and resolving technical issues. The role also requires communicating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with performance expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong project engineering and project management skills, including experience in project planning and coordination.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering, with the ability to work on design, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in wastewater treatment, sewage systems, or related environmental engineering disciplines is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail under time constraints.
- Familiarity with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards applicable to water and wastewater facilities.
- Comfort working on-site at industrial or utility locations and willingness to visit project sites as required.
